This house needed a formal entrance to create that sense of arrival as you turned the corner from the parking, and to create that real warm welcome home for the clients. The house dictated a confident approach to the front porch, so we achieved with with large clipped Buxus balls and lavender. Views and vistas are also integral to the garden design and form part of the enjoyment as you walk through the front garden. A large feature pot creates a focal point on one of the brick paths, and acts as part of the scene by the old timber door in the walled garden.
